Where? Three Legged Cross
When? Sunday 13th April 2003
What's it about? To work with local youth and the local Mencap society to enhance our entrance/drive through planting spring flowers, primarily daffodils, to engender civic pride/cooperation.
Where's it happening? Village Hall, Three Legged Cross What will volunteers do? Plant spring flowers to improve the look of the entrance from the road.
What to wear/bring: Wear wellies. Bring a drink and gloves, and a spade/brush of you have one.
What will be provided: Water, some tools, home made cake! Supervision.

What's it about? To clear and prepare a bog area, pumpkin patch and a tyre caterpillar.
Where's it happening? St Mary's C of E Primary School, Clay Lane, Beaminster, What will volunteers do? All our volunteers will be helping to create the bog area including path clearance and tidy-up.
What to wear/bring: Suitable outdoor clothing. Bring own tools and materials
What will be provided: Supervision and direction

What's it about? Redhill Common has been neglected for many years and desperately needs attention before all local habitat disappears.
Where's it happening? Redhill Common, Redhill, Bournemouth What will volunteers do? Clear gorse by cutting away and burning.
What to wear/bring: Sensible clothing and footwear, warm hats, gloves, food and drinks
What will be provided: Tools and gloves

What's it about? Coppicing hazel semi-natural ancient woodland on an established 10 year rotation
Where's it happening? Garston Wood, RSPB Nature Reserve, Sixpenny Handley What will volunteers do? Coppice hazel using bowsaws and long-handled loppers
What to wear/bring: Refreshments, waterproof clothing, strong shoes or boots
What will be provided: Gloves, tools and training

Any restrictions? Age range 15 - 75, no pets
