What's it about? To hold a guided community walk, clearing the footpaths as we go.

Potting & Planting

What's it about? To 'pot on' seedlings for community planting in the summer and undertake planting of spring/early summer flowers around various community sites.
Where's it happening? various locations, Burton Ferry, Milford Haven What will volunteers do? One team will 'pot on' plants in the greenhouse, and two teams will take plants out and plant them at community areas around their neighbourhood.

What's it about? Group of volunteers to visit the National Botanical Garden of Wales to obtain expert advice on planting village scheme.

Visit the Botanical Gardens and have a formal discussion with one of their experts on planting primroses, cowslips and floral boxes in our village. There will also be a demonstration in which volunteers will be practically involved.

Bumper Beach Clean and Action Earth Launch

What's it about? To get people out of the house after Christmas, clean the marine & general litter from the local beach. Plan other Action Earth events around a bonfire with hot soup etc!!
Where's it happening? Burton Beach, Burton Ferry, Milford Haven (nr.) What will volunteers do? Remove litter blown onto foreshore during winter storms. Record types of litter, separate for disposal eg bagging & collection or burning!
